CAREER TRACK
DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING 4/2002 – present SCANCO - Akron, OH
Directed design and manufacturing of industry leading raw material tracking RFID solution for the
largest greenhouse in the United States – second largest in the World. Based on the MAS500 Warehouse
Automation solution, this project became the first successful synergy of RFID and Sage MAS500 ERP
system. At 2008 Sage Summit, product was nominated for multiple awards and won in “Best Use of
Customizations” category.
Managed creation and implementation of RealTime Route solution (Remote Sales and Direct Store
Delivery system) integrated into Sage MAS90/200 and Sage MAS500. Utilizing GPS, WLAN, WAN (GPRS,
Wi-Fi) connectivity, system assists remote sales and delivery personnel to effectively communicate from
the field with the main ERP system. Largest install had over 40 delivery vehicles running 2 shifts a day.
Supervised programming of Warehouse Automation module for Sage MAS500 ERP solution. Released in
2005, it was licensed under OEM agreement to Sage Software the same year. Became a part of the
standard ERP offering to Sage customer base. Over 30 MAS500 companies purchased the module; more
than 20 sites effectively implemented the solution.
Oversaw development of LabelXpert, a warehouse label-printing solution. Product supported in excess of
700 printer models from dozens of manufacturers. Programmed to be incorporated into Exact Macola
ES / Progression as well as Sage MAS90 / MAS200 / 500 ERP Systems. Over 50 successful installs
were made since 2002. Two years later this product was licensed to Sage Software to be marketed
alongside the Warehouse Automation module to MAS500 marketplace.
