Supervise 18 hourly employees in an union environment for the central distribution facility.
Verify the receipt of raw materials (15- 20 truck loads daily) and conduct quality and quantity inspections
against contract requirements.
Play a critical role in maintaining manufacturing schedules (production and non-production) by supervise the
on-time receipt and distribution of parts and/or assemblies.
Serve as the key contact point for 6 departments and supervisors by ensuring access to needed materials and
supplies resulting in uninterupted production.
Flexibly respond to changes in production schedules by monitoring on-hand inventories of materials, using
alternative materials when urgent changes occur, and reporting inventory shortages, discrepancies, and quality
