Executive Director, HR Operations and Analytics (2007 – 2009)
Reporting to the Chief Administration Officer, managed 3 HRIS, 7 HR Administration, 3 Payroll, and 6 Talent
Acquisition team members in support of both strategic and administrative HR functions.
• Realigned department to focus Talent Acquisition Specialists on talent bands, resulting in a higher fill rate and
improved applicant quality. Developed and implemented a proactive talent acquisition process that identified
potential issues (e.g., salary compression, reporting structure, etc.) before recruitment commenced.
• Led project to select and implement company’s recruitment tracking system (iCIMS), which entailed significant
process redesign in Talent Acquisition, HR Administration, HR Compliance, Compensation, and HRIS, as well as
coordination with Legal, IT, and company’s Internet recruitment and background verification vendors.
• Enhanced the Olympus Fellows Program (management development program) by redesigning the program’s
recruitment strategy, including facilitating consensus with all stakeholders, receiving feedback from all current
and former Fellows, redesigning the recruitment website, and coordinating the first Fellows Open House.
• Successfully integrated Gyrus ACMI (1,200+ employee acquisition) into the Olympus HRIS system and trained
their HR team on its use.
• Successfully upgraded ADP HRIS/Payroll system 4 weeks ahead of schedule and over $450,000 under initial
budget by aggressive project management and in-house technical development.
• Designed and implemented web-based, HR Dashboard to provide access to employee information and HR

Director, HR Systems and Administration (2002- 2007)
Reporting to the Vice President of HR, managed 2 HRIS, 5 HR Administration, and 3 Payroll team members in
support of HR administrative initiatives.
• Assumed responsibility for Payroll Administration, instilling a customer-focused approach. Cross-trained team to
leverage workflow similarities between HR and Payroll Administration.
• Ensured consistency among all Olympus pay groups, while automating many previously manual entry points (e.g.,
bonuses, commissions, T&E, etc.).
• Managed an HR Process documentation project coordinating with all HR functions.
• Managed HR transition plan for the corporate relocation from Melville, NY to Center Valley, PA. Re-organized
HR Systems and Admin department to maximize efficiency while cross-training staff to maximize coverage in
anticipation of separations.
• Managed project to upgrade company’s web-based HRIS/Payroll System from HRizon to ADP Enterprise. By
reducing reliance on consultants and bringing responsibility in-house, achieved a $225,000 savings under the
ADP proposal.
• Technical lead for vendor-based, online benefit enrollment website. Worked with United Healthcare (UHC) to
develop requirements, data transmission parameters, and authoritative source of information to deliver a
successful launch on time with full integration into company’s HRIS/Payroll system.
• Project lead for other HR initiatives including the Olympus “Resident Expert” program (e.g., internal resume
posting system), automation of the Annual Merit/Bonus Process, and the Employee Self-Service implementation.
Manager, HR Systems and Administration (2001 – 2002)
Reporting to the Vice President of HR, managed 2 HRIS and 5 HR Administration team members.
• Assumed responsibility for HR Administration, centralizing the function, assigning process owners, and instilling
a team-based approached to workflow management. Departmental redesign resulted in the virtual elimination of
overtime and created additional workload capacity, creating an opportunity to absorb additional workload from
Benefits, Staffing, Compensation, and HR Generalists.
• Revamped the corporate Onboarding process by consolidating the background and drug testing vendor,
decreasing average turnaround time from 12 to 5 days, and provided a cost savings of 23%. Redesigned the New
Hire Orientation process to focus on corporate culture, in addition to policy & procedure.
• Assumed responsibility for managing the $20MM HR budget, including creating the budget presentation for
executive management.
Manager, Business Systems, HR (1995 – 2001)
Reporting to the HR Director, managed 2 HRIS team members and a part-time consultant.
• Managed all of the HR Department’s Information Systems, including the analysis, programming, and delivery of
software on the AS/400 and PC, as well as security and connectivity on the AS/400 and Novel LAN. Maintained
HR/SP software package that utilized a GUI interface under Windows.
• Developed Data Warehouse that reconciled information from HR/SP system (AS/400 based), legacy HR systems
(PC and AS/400), Olympus General Ledger (AS/400), Telecommunications (PC), and Security system (PC).
Allowed access to static data for unified reporting and reduced AS/400 resource load. Created reporting tool for
end users to easily extract data and introduced advanced audits, as well as simple HR metrics.
• Developed and implemented a company-wide Attendance Tracking System to Olympus-specific requirements.
This replaced a manual, paper-based system, reducing time to complete the process, increasing the accuracy of
calculations, and provided real-time information to Management and Finance.
• Led the RFP process to select new, integrated HRIS/Payroll system (ADP HRizon V8) and acted as technical lead
on the system’s implementation.
Programmer/Analyst (1993 - 1995)
• Implemented the company’s first HRIS system (HR/SP Software) converting data from available sources.
Completed conversion 75% faster than the time estimated by consultants/vendor by creating conversion program
instead of purchasing their tool, resulting in an additional $5,000+ of savings.
• Analyzed, designed, and delivered corporate budget reporting system using ASSET RPG code generator.
• Developed and coded Pricing Upload/Download mechanism, providing users the ability to extract data from
AS/400 BPCS pricing files, download them to the PC in a variety of formats (DBF, TXT, XLS, etc.), manipulate
as necessary, and then upload and convert back to BPCS files.
ARBOR NATIONAL MORTGAGE, Westbury, NY 1989 - 1993

• Migrated System 36 to AS/400, converting RPG II to RPG/400. Analyzed, designed, coded, and oversaw the
implementation of an automated commission system.
