Deployed the Lean Manufacturing approach in facilities to help drive and sustain continuous improvement projects
by product family. To handle additional Lean project improvements, I trained and mentored the staff in the tools of
Lean Manufacturing. I reviewed Capital expenditure requests from manufacturing engineers for improvements in
the facilities. As the project manager I recently completed two consolidation projects budgeted over $1 million each
to eliminate waste and redundant operations saving between $750 thousand to $1.2 million.

Responsible for production, safety, and quality of a maintenance work force of 20 hourly employees for all
equipment repairs and improvements along with the Set-up changes in the production cells. I was responsible for
controlling and reporting the monthly Maintenance budget.
