Plant Manager – Wixom, MI

Launched 3 new customers in the building products market in a four month time frame which resulted in an annual

sales increase of $2.5 million for CY 2009.

Realigned organizational resources through a companywide cross training initiative to meet the challenges of a

declining market as sales price was reduced an average of 25% in the commercial glass business.

Leader of six JIT complex modular assembly and sequencing facilities in Michigan, Louisiana, Georgia, and Texas with

$85 million of value added sales employing 1200 team members. First non owner promoted to the executive leadership

Negotiated multiple UAW contracts, incorporating two tier compensation plans through the development of collaborative

problem solving.

Development and recruitment of multiple plant leadership teams to launch new facilities in Sterling Heights, MI and

Belvedere, IL from Plant Manager to the operational team members utilizing the DDI selection process.

Restructured operations in Doraville, Georgia and Shreveport, Louisiana and returned both facilities to the targeted

modular assemblies and sequenced commodities while operating within a 180 minute broadcast window.

Reduced staffing by 40% in a 9 month time frame by streamling positions through empowering team members

in all facets of the organization. Eliminated waste by removing non value added operations.

Negotiated a 3 year collective bargaining agreement with the UAW incorporating a two tier compensation plan.

engine cradle assemblies to General Motors Hamtramck facility.

Achieved profitability of 25% EBITDA on $8 million of net value add sales by aggressively driving kaizen

Coordinated and successfully executed the launch of a 300,000 square foot brownfield injection molding facility in the

manufacture of door panels, cowls, and other interior/exterior components.

Coordinated the consolidation of three facilities and the subsequent customer approvals to transfer over 50

tools in a three-month time frame.

Staffed a Brownfield site with direct reports including: Controller, Engineering Manager, Quality Manager,

Human Resources Manager, and Operations Manager in a two month timeframe.

million CDN. Processes included 34 injection- molding machines and a Class a paint system for rockers and fascias.

Led restructuring efforts in Chatham and Peterborough after the facilities were purchased out of receivership.

General Manager - Windsor, ON

Revitalized a CAW injection molding operation by restructuring the management team and installing a metric system for

driving continuous improvement in an operation with sales of $50 million CDN in the manufacturing of automotive

components for Ford, Honda, and Toyota.

Installed inventory control systems to gain control of consigned inventory which was yielding inventory losses
