I am seeking a position as a Project Manager, Construction Manager or Estimator. I am a
licensed general contractor in the state of Georgia. I have 30 years of experience in commercial
construction. My experience includes block & steel, steel frame, wood frame and precast
concrete. I am able to read and understand construction drawings, specifications and codes.
Experience:
Construction Administrator: August 2007 – October 2008 (Laid off due to economic
downturn)
MSTSD, Inc., Atlanta, GA – I was responsible for attending OAC meetings, making site
visits and writing field reports both on the jobs progress and concerning any work that I
deemed was not being done as per the contract documents. Other duties included
answering RFIs, checking shop drawings and submittals, reviewing change orders and pay
requests.

President / Project Manager: August 2004 - August 2007
Red Hawk Development, LLC, Maysville, GA – I am responsible for doing estimates and
making sure the sub-contractors receive the plans and specifications pertinent to their
portion of the project. I write proposals, contracts, fill out change orders and pay requests
and meet with the clients. I meet with the superintendents and walk the job site checking to
make sure the work is being performed per the contract documents. I also, track the jobs
progress to make sure it is on schedule and within budget. Other duties include: value
engineering the project, checking shop drawings and submittals and obtaining information
from the superintendents that is required by the architect and/or engineers for as-built
drawings.

buildings (offices, shopping centers, etc.) on the site, shooting grades during the site
grading and parking lot layouts. I scheduled the sub-contractors and got answers for any
questions that may arise in the field. I worked with the Project Manager to keep the project
on schedule and the plans up to date. Other duties included working with the sub-
contractors to provide the information needed for as-built drawings and make sure the
punch list was completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Carpenter: June 1978 – September 1979

the superintendent in laying out the buildings and putting up batterboards. I also, did trim
work on the interior of the buildings (Dental/Medical and attorneys).
