Participated in the due diligence process during the merger and acquisition of California Savings Bank

by FBOP Corporation. Coordinated and prepared reports as well as implemented and executed all new

HR policies, procedures, and programs. (Personally responded to all questions regarding entire

spectrum of HR functions.)

Reduced HR staff after acquisition to 3 while managing a high volume of turnover. In 2005, there were

109 FTE terminations and 80 new hires, and in 2006, 59 terminations and 88 new hires.

Prepared and administered Requests for Proposals for Benefits Administrators, Payroll, and HRIS

systems as well as Salary and Total Compensation. Analyzed results and made recommendations.

Increased employee participation in the 401(k) 36% by scheduling educational meetings, providing

communication materials, and one-on-one assistance.

Created material and trained 40 management and supervisory staff on harassment prevention awareness

and responsibilities which reduced corporate liability and potential legal exposure.

Established career paths and evaluated, created, and redefined positions to retain and promote key staff.

Revised Employee Handbook, Injury and Illness Prevention Manual, and Code of Conduct.
