AES Inc, San Jose, USA May 2007 – Mar 2008
FEA Simulation Manager: CAE/CFD Division
Worked as a Manager and maintained the off-shore Team of 15 members (Analyst) size, located at Chennai and
Bangalore (INDIA) offices, India. Actively working with the following clients as a front end contact and executed
projects both onsite and offsite.
NVIDIA Inc, Santa Clara
•
Bump crack Simulation on C51-Chip set: To predict the failure- root cause of Solder Bumps; using FEA
approach in consideration of Creep strain accumulation and thermal gradient effects. To achieve this; Creep
analysis is done for field condition mini cycling; and life is calculated based on the Fatigue life equations
(Darveaux method)
Random Vibration analysis on C73 Chip set: Identify the failure mode vibration & structural rigidity of the
chip set. The different frequencies (from lab testing) are checked through FEA, and avoid the resonance of the
structure; which may initiate the crack.
Package Thermal modeling support: The parametric study of the package assembly with the aid of FEA macro
programming; which can find the dimensional sensitivity of the different components. Also; macro can capture
the temperature distribution of the package.
INTEL Inc, Santa Clara
•
Photo masking process simulation: Study the effects of Gasket stiffness & its Thickness on Pellicle Induced
distortions (PID) in Advanced Photo masks By FEM Approach.
Mount force optimization; taking structural stiffness as objective function and pellicle in plane distortion as
constrain.
Frame structure optimization:
Managed project for companies like AKT (Applied Materials Group), MATTSON Technologies, LAM Research,
CAPSTONE TURBINE, and HUSKY INJECTION Molding

SONA KOYO Steering systems Pvt Ltd JUNE 2004 – NOV 2005
Manager CAE
Developed FEA standards for the entire Steering system assembly as per FMVSS motor vehicle standards
•
The prototype testing (Experimental set up) procedure was simulated virtually by using FEA applications, compare
•
the results with experimental data, and FEA procedure was standardized.
The FEA standards were documented and testing method were approved. We started using FEA instead of Physical
•
prototyping testing.
Considerable amount of time and cost saved, the entire Product life cycle was drastically reduced.
