I am familiar with AC/DC circuits, electronics and trained in the use of relevant testing

equipment. I am familiar with operating systems such as Windows 95, 98, 98SE, ME, W2K Pro, XP

Media Center, XP Pro, XP Home and Server 2003. I am also familiar with the Apple and Macintosh

operating environments from OS 6.1 to 9.6. I have been a Power Limited Technician for the past ten

EMPLOYMENT

2009 Self employed as a computer technician for Pfarr’s Computer Services of

Springfield, MN. I help clients with repairs, upgrades, rebuilds and consulting

on new purchases. Light deskjet and laserjet printer repairs and service.

2007 Completed an assignment at 3M in New Ulm as a Computer Support Specialist

through Manpower out of Mankato, MN. I inspected, cleaned, diagnosed and

repaired computer systems for 3M’s Automated Library Checkout System. I

also documented, recorded and updated service procedures enhancing the

quality of 3M’s refurbished computer systems.

2005-2006 Service Technician, Vestas – American Wind Technology, Inc. of Tyler, MN.

Monitored wind turbines via computers ensuring productive operation.

Perform scheduled services and unscheduled repairs as needed. Inventoried

truck tools and helped with keeping the stock area organized and neat.

Replaced gearboxes, generators, yaw gears and other components as required.

1999-2005 Computer Technician, Redwood Area Schools – Redwood Falls, MN.

Setup, repaired and installed software on all the computers district wide. I

helped maintain 500+ computers within two sites with over 1,000 students and

225 staff. Installed and maintained a 24-hr security monitoring system in both

school buildings. During this period I was also self-employed as a Computer

Technician on scheduled nights and weekends helping clients with their

technology needs.
