Shipping/Receiving/Stockroom Manager - Ingersoll Rand, Athens PA. January 2007 - Present

Responsible for the leadership and direction of over 40 employees in the Shipping, Receiving and Stockroom and Customer Service depts.

Notable Achievements: Brought Corporate Carrier Compliance % from 32% to 94% and earned top rating amongst all Ingersoll Rand

Facilities, resulting in over $30,000/ month cost savings realized. Introduced and implemented new finished goods Kan Ban inventory

system. Improved inventory accuracy from 63% to 89% and cycle counts from 35% to 96% accurate in finished goods. Trained in use of

both Tranzact and Lean Logistics (TMS) logistic software programs for scheduling Inbound and Outbound freight carriers. Developed and

implemented new inventory naming logic. Assisted in developing freight carrier scorecard system rating carriers in numerous metrics critical

to operations. Participated and lead numerous Lean Six Sigma courses/Kaizen events.

Manufacturing Manager – Oakhill Veneer Inc., Troy PA. March 2005 – January 2007

Responsible for Veneer Face Plant Splicing Operations, Purchasing Dept., E.H.S. Waste Water Treatment and Maintenance Dept.

respectively. Delivering cost effective procurements, awarding contracts. Plant wide Security, writing Safety procedures/policies, timely

completion of D.E.P. Air Quality and Water Quality permits. Notable Achievements: Championed several continuous improvement projects

including: introduction of Kan Ban system, which improved schedule level loading and ship-on-time of several key products. Designed work

cells coming off splicing conveyors resulting in reduction of lead-times,W.I.P. and manpower. Assisted in design/layout of wastewater

treatment filtration system. Implemented a quality control specifications system of audits and specification manuals. Championed energy

reduction project focusing on boiler gas and steam usage resulting in 15% improvement.

Production Supervisor - Mill’s Pride L.L.C., Sayre, PA. March 2000 - February 11, 2005

Responsible for the Supervision and direction of over 100 employees in a state-of-the-art CNC machining (R.T.A.) Ready-To-Assemble,

cabinet-manufacturing industry. Vast knowledge of veneers and all aspects of pressing and solid panel stock operations. Notable

Achievements: Developed/implemented a cross training program, Hazard Assessment program and Work Instructions Program. Member of

the Industrial Advisory Committee, and United Way Representative. Project Manager responsible for commissioning and successful

introduction of world's first high-pressure, hot air Wemhoner membrane veneer press, several successful continuous improvement and cost

savings projects including projects to make versus “buy” components, one project resulted in an annualized savings of $1.2 million, and an

optimization project which reduced yield loss from 27% to 9% with an annualized savings of over $700,000. Both of my depts. consistently

recognized as leader in on-time performance, safety, inventory accuracy, personnel and equipment utilization and efficiencies.
