projects administering subcontracts, keeping Project Managers aware of major issues that could affect the
projects, working closely with field and Cost and Scheduling personnel.
Transportation Business Group – Business Group Procurement Manager, September 2006 to September
2008
Responsible for Procurement activities for the Transportation Business Group; everything from the proposal
stage, to staffing the Group with regional resources, to providing project support. Matrix reporting to TBG
Management and the Civil Infrastructure Director of Procurement. Goal was to introduce and implement
Enterprise Procurement practices to the Business Group and implement according to the requirements and
needs of the Group.
Power Business Group – Project Procurement Manager-Pursuits, September 2008 to Present
Lead Procurement Representative for the Power Group to work on design/build proposals including solid
fuel, gas, biomass and solar plants. Primary contact with project teams, delegating responsibilities to
Procurement personnel in the Group. Participate in weekly meetings, review meetings, deep-dives and OCEO
reviews.
November 2004 to November 2005 – Regional Procurement Manager
Earth Tech, Inc., Englewood, CO
Managed Procurement staff of Western Region in support of the company’s Design/Build initiative. Also
supported various ongoing projects as well as working on proposals to secure new work. Personally handled
the subcontracting of a $30 million hospital renovation project at Lackland, AFB, TX.
April 2002 to November 2004 – Contract Manager
Raytheon Polar Services Company, Englewood, CO
Responsible for subcontracts and large purchases (greater than $100,000) supporting the Marine & Science
(M&S), Facilities, Engineering, Maintenance and Construction (FEMC), and Information Technology (IT)
Groups at RPSC. Raytheon is the prime contractor to the National Science Foundation in supporting the
United States Antarctic Program.
August 2001 to April 2002 – Contract Manager (Contract labor position)
MACTEC, Inc., Golden, CO
Manage construction contracts and subcontracts for Department of Energy (DOE) and commercial sites.
Majority of work was environmental cleanup and decontamination and dismantlement (D&D).
Responsibilities include proposal evaluation, supplier selection, negotiating price, schedule, rates and fee,
contract award, timely completion of contracts, staffing of projects, and direct reporting to Project Managers
and upper Management. Also worked with Proposal Managers in pursuing new work, both task orders and
new contracts.
March 2000 to June 2001 – Manager of Procurement and Logistics

Staffed and managed Procurement Department for startup tele-communications company. Developed and
implemented Procurement Policies and Procedures. Personally responsible for all inside plant procurement,
reporting directly to General Manager and Vice President in supporting a very aggressive network build
schedule. Responsible for procurement, design/build operations, and annual budget of over $800 million.
Evenly delegated department responsibilities among all Buyers, but was intimately familiar with all activities
and issues related to all suppliers.
