Project Manager / Senior Software Systems Engineer
Project Scheduling and Performance Based Logistics, Specification & Requirements, Design & Automation Support Specialist, Systems
Integrator
Summary of Qualifications
More than thirty-five years software design, analysis, test, and production support experience pushing state-of-the-art process integration,
automation, testing, and production optimization. Expertise includes most CAD/CAM/CAA/CAE systems and applications for PCB,
Hybrid, ASIC, and IC technologies. Expertise also includes mechanical processes, multi tiered software engineering applications, and
configuration management with special emphasis on reporting aspects of CM. Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication
skills. Extremely skilled at merging customer requests, reported problems, management direction, GUI standards, legacy product, and
industry trends into requirements and specifications to drive new product software development and automation. Some specific
accomplishments and skills include:
Used SQL to mine metrics, MS Project to manage project, EVMS to determine project status, provided daily updates to individual
project managers, and assembled scheduled reports for program management and others up to the U.S. Congressional level.
Used project fact finding, performance based logistics (PBL), and MSProject skills to plan and monitor many successful projects.
Developed 70 Milstar TAO procedure pass plan components in COTS/DB/Proc Builder environment. Experienced EPOCH2000 test
engineer w/current clearance. After initial pass of AF Provided MS Word description of TAO procedure through PERL script to form
initial procedure. Resulting XML code was further cleaned and optimized to move toward finished product that worked in concert with
Oracle stored measurands. Used XML coding requirements to widen scope of PERL automation.
Ran physical testing at Schriever AFB on pass plan measurands to confirm correct and complete. Documented defects for solution by
database group.
Expert at data mining in large scale multi tiered environments, sanitizing irregular data input, integrating data into more meaningful
indicators, and pre rolling data for high speed communication to all levels of operations decision makers.
Authored response to SBIR C4I GUI RFP by using COTS KBDMBS engine. Developed expert system working prototype for
demonstration purposes based on artificial intelligence principles.
Work breakdown project management specialist used to planning, scheduling, multi tasking, and budgeting on large scale projects.
Familiar with MS Project and other PM aids.
Trained and experienced system administrator. Have had administration responsibilities on as many as 1,000 nodes for hardware
definition, software configuration and version, and user privilege capabilities. Everyday user of FTP, TCP/IP, CICS/NDM/ispf, OLE.
Authored departmental ISO9000 document for developing custom CNC machine tool applications and the porting of same to target
customer OS environments as well as the release of the finished product on CD for shipping to the customer.
As Honeywell corporate Wirewrap SME, developed algorithm to merge Space Shuttle Main Engine Controller and Outboard Engine
Controller signal lists (10,000 x 7,000 signals) into non redundant test list to verify shorts and opens between devices. Also as corporate
Wirewrap SME, supported production of DITMCO CNC bare board testing programs and production of single and dual head wire wrap
CNC programming for Avionics, Ordnance, Defense, and Underseas Systems Divisions.

Everyday user of multiple MS operating systems including Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, NT, XP, and XP Professional including MS
Office application suites. Also everyday user of Solaris, AIX (including SP-2 Clustered complex with Weblogic WLS/WLE middleware),
HP, Dec Alpha, Intergraph (CLIX) and most associated flavors of scripting.
Under direction of Elastic Plastic Impact Code PhD. Honeywell Engineering Fellow, developed GUI code to display velocity, pressure,
stress, strain, and geometry aspects of projectiles hitting armored plate at various angles. The code was also used to optimize design of
self forging fragments later employed in munitions produced by multiple divisions. In both cases GUI visualizations were compared
against high speed photography and high speed x-ray photography to verify and optimize supporting simulation algorithms. Have also
supported other FEM processes for many industries world wide.
Trained and experienced PVCS CM administrator, report generation expert, and user. Also experienced on a number of other CM
engines including CVS and ICOM. Expert at following reported problems and customer requests from service assurance and service
delivery systems through analysis, requirements, development, testing, regression testing, release, and delivery with approvals through
each stage. Trained and experienced BMC/Patrol and experienced Tivoli critical systems monitoring expert.
Invented new method to produce circuit boards for Navy contract. New method reduced production time from 16 hours to 45 minutes
and resulted in $4+ million cost reduction award.
Reduced labor costs by automation of production web content in multi tiered environment. Extensive experience with military systems,
C4I systems, and pre rolling reports and KPI’s for decision makers. Used UNIX scripting in many environments, C++ process controller,
HTML web based documentation, SQL with many DB Engines and T-SQL for web content production, stored procedure development
and ad hoc reporting.
