• Managed and supported delivery of the GSE – Envelope Optimisation workstream projects for 2009,

including functional releases for applications used by Supply / Marketing businesses.

• Embraced stakeholder management by working closely with both business and IT community from

Global Process Leads, Application Process Advisor and Business Analyst, Development, Testing and

QA team within the GSE team.

• Defined project plans and 15+ team assignments from various locations; directed and monitored work

efforts on a daily basis; identify resource needs; perform quality reviews; monitored project spend and

escalated functional, quality and timeline issues appropriately.

• Monitored and tracked the progress of the projects and key milestones within multiple stages and

provide status reports to the Global Project Management Office (PMO) and other business

Shell Downstream – Business Infrastructure Management (BIM) unit, in role as contractor from IBM Malaysia

• Managed budget portfolio of US$ 22m for Desktop and Retail programmes, including GI-Next

Generation (GI-NG) and Retail Telecom Programme (RTP)

• Managed the demand for investments within the available funding for Desktop and Retail projects by

turning on the Investment Proposals (IP) once approved.

• Managed program budget continuously that delivered business solutions to timescale and cost

targets, evaluated progress, quality, issue resolution process and took corrective action as necessary.

• Functioned as Delivery Quality Manager in approving the Project Control Plan and assisted PMO.

• Successfully implemented IP telephone system used for Contact Centre throughout all branches in

Malaysia.

• Provided smooth coordination with the regional team set up in Singapore for the local roll-out and

implementation in the Asia Pacific region.

Magnum 4D Berhad

Magnum is engaged in the gaming business, being the pioneer and market leader in the Malaysian authorised

gaming industry.

Project: IBM Server and Storage Services (Contract Value ~ USD 800k)

• Successfully coordinated with Intralot (Application Provider) in delivering all IBM hardware and

services that supported a gaming application upgrade, involving both production and disaster

recovery sites.

• Worked through challenging Service Level Agreements (SLA) especially during the first six months

after project was launched to all 36 branches in Peninsular Malaysia.

Amway IT Services Sdn Bhd

Amway is one of the world’s best-known and established direct selling companies.

Data Centre Relocation (Contract Value ~ USD 100k)

• Efficiently relocated / consolidated the client’s data centre environments (AS400 and project

management services) within 24 hours. The relocation was accomplished with no unplanned outages

and on budget.

• Key liaison with other vendors that ensured smooth relocation exercise for other Windows platforms.

iPerintis Sdn Bhd

Subsidiary of Petronas Oil and Gas companies, iPerintis is a leading provider of consulting and technology

services and solutions.

Lotus Notes Migration (Contract Value ~ USD 600k)

• Provided all hardware upgrade, setup and implementation services for the Lotus Notes Migration

exercise to MS Exchange within 6 branches in Malaysia, that involved all hardware and software

installation and implementation, expanding windows platform servers and introducing backup and

recovery solutions for the business.

EPF is a social security institution formed which provides retirement benefits for members through

management of their savings in an efficient and reliable manner.

Implementation of Disaster Recovery Solutions (Contract Value ~ USD 3m)

• Provided Disaster Recovery Solutions, which included all hardware (i.e. AS400, Windows platforms,

storage upgrade) and software/applications to support the disaster recovery plan and strategy.

• Successfully performed two Disaster Recovery Simulation test that met the objective of the scope

identified by the business.

Secure Parking Corporation Sdn Bhd (Oct 2005 to June 2006)
