Pressroom Supervisor 2nd Shift

Responsible for maintaining quality, production and training of crews on six

Heidelberg sheet-fed printing presses, (one being full-time UV, and one being

part-time UV), consisting of 14 department employees and one Heidelberg

Dymatrix Die-Cutter operator. Worked with Prepress on File Maker Pro,

scheduling work for the pressroom. Also worked with customers and sales on

color okay’s.

Pressroom Manager

Responsible for pressroom department consisting of, 53 employees on three

shifts. Worked with sales and customers, from design to on-press color okay’s.

Handled new hires, releases, yearly evaluations, apprenticeships and

promotions. Worked with outside vendors to have the best possible products, in

the shop. Also worked with scheduling to have crews on hand during vacation

season and weekend work. Monitored and catalogued production and quality for

monthly meetings with, “The Executive Management Team” to discuss

improvements.
