Human Resources Director, Americas and Global Accounts Sales 2003-Present
Responsible for the HR leadership of 1,500 Enterprise sales employees located throughout North and Latin
Americas generating $1.05B in annual sales. Function as the HR Business Partner for a leadership team comprised
of two business presidents, seven vice presidents and thirty-two branch managers. Accountable for organizational
effectiveness, leadership coaching, employee relations, sales compensation and performance management. Areas
of focus include recruitment and workforce management while formulating and driving a people strategy to
maximize revenue generation. Partner with executive leaders and manage the integration of resources during
major restructuring of the company. Business HR prime for multiple business divestitures
• Led the reorganization of the North American sales function in a manner that dramatically improved efficiency by
focusing direct sales resources on largest accounts. Successfully implemented a lower cost go to market strategy
with emphasis on channel sales/support and the creation of an inside sales center for smaller accounts.

Intelligent Internet Product Development Group 2000-2003
Responsible for the North American HR function supporting the data products research and development
organization comprised of 2,500 employees with $2.4 billion revenue accountability. Served as the lead HR advisor
to the business executive team to insure the achievement of our emerging technology workforce plan. Provided
leadership in employee relations, performance management, recruiting and organization design and development.
• Implemented employee talent segmentation programs, top talent and scarce skills retention programs.
• Successfully led the integration of three acquired businesses which included the retention of critical human capital
and identified duplicative functions.
• Key contributor to workforce evolution and organizational change which successfully reduced the global employee
population from 115,000 to 35,000 while preserving critical product development schedules and new technology

Employee Relations Director
1993-2000
Responsible for corporate employee relations functions for operations in the Eastern United States. Ensured
corporate compliance with all legislative regulations including EEO, Affirmative Action, Fair Labor Standards Act,
FMLA, Title VII, WARN, ADA, OSHA and all non-discrimination legal requirements. Served as the corporate liaison
with government agencies on all employment compliance matters including EEOC, DOL, and local human rights
agencies in addition to state/federal courts. Managed employment litigation with seven figure settlement authority.
• Successfully reduced union representation through decertification of three bargaining units. Reduced new union
grievances by 20% following a more aggressive stance on grievance filings.
• Managed eight EEOC on-site audits with no enforcement outcomes.
• Adopted mediation as a preferred means of reduced cost employee dispute resolution.
• Oversaw and conducted numerous harassment, discrimination and ethics investigations focused on mitigation of

Human Resources Manager, Telephone Products Division 1984-1991
Responsible for HR leadership for a telecommunications products manufacturing facility that was transitioned to a
repair and refurbishment operation. Initially employed as the HR manager for a 1,000 employee, three shift
manufacturing operation. Successfully led a comprehensive union avoidance program in a division that had
encountered a history of numerous labor organizing campaigns. Led the organizational transition from
manufacturing to a telecommunications repair and service center.
