QA/Business Analyst - July 02 – Present

The only QA person for all software developments for ERM (Environmental

Resources management) department. The goal of ERM Application is to

automate ERM department’s day-to-day business, such as: restore and enhance

the natural resources of Palm Beach County through environmental assessment,

permitting, reestablishment of the productivity, structure, function, and dynamic

self-sustaining behavior of damaged ecosystems, monitoring preserves and

maintains the County’s native biological communities of the coastal and inland

ecosystems.

Main responsibility includes the following:

o Involved/lead the JAD sessions.

o Involved in the database designing.

o Responsible to create/maintain Functional, GUI (Graphical User

Interface), User Guide for software applications.

o Responsible to test an application from all aspects. For ex- Unit testing,

Functional testing, Manual Testing.

o Responsible to log in defects in Quality center and use the tool for the test

management.

Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) was a client/server application,

which was used to perform the following functions with tight security.

• Schedule & track client's office visits through the use of Sign-In-Logs

functionality provided in the system.

• Record client and household member's information including the

scanning of personal identification.

• Track client and household member referrals.

• Record household income used to determine eligibility for assistance

from LIHEAP.

• Process LIHEAP Applications from initial acceptance through

supervisory approval and community service's financial audit.

• Notify vendors of LIHEAP payments.

• Generate Reports.

• Maintain code tables that were used to pre-define data used by the

application.
