and taught high school science, math, computer, and physical education courses. This position
was more of an administration and supervision position for students working on self-paced,
homeschooling curriculum, however, I did teach at least one course in each field annually.

Managed and maintained a Microsoft Windows/Server based network for Starland School.
Part-Time for three years and Full-Time for 5 years. I was the only person in the IT department
so I have a vast range of experience. I did everything from tutoring, teaching computer courses,
troubleshooting and repairing client pcs to upgrading and maintaining the network. Infrastructure
included Microsoft Server 2000 and 2003, Microsoft W indows 2000 and XP, W atchguard
Firebox and Citrix Presentation Server products. Last project was a migration from Citrix
Presentation Server 3.0 to 4.5. which included purchasing, installing and configuring a new
server (HP DL380 RM) and seamlessly integrate it into the system. I have also built quite a
few computer systems. The past year I worked for Synergy Technical Solutions doing onsite

CNC Machinist
During my formal education years I worked as a machinist for Starland Metals LLC. Starland
Metals LLC is a company that specializes in cutting, forming, packaging and shipping stainless
steel products (www.starlandmetals.com). My responsibility was to operate and maintain CNC
press brake and CNC turret punch machines. This responsibility included following work-orders,
programming, and operating the machine. I was also responsible for performing routine
EDUCATION: maintenance on the machines.
