I started working at S&W News when I was 11. My duties were to research

I started working for the ROCK after my 13th birthday party there. I started

After my 18th birthday I moved out to UT for a year of college at BYU and

In March 2001 I left for a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ

2000 leadership as a Sr. Missionary. By the end of my two years, I was a Zone

Leader which covered 4-5 areas and was over 10-15 people. I was also

My first year at Southern Virginia University was in the fall of 2003. I took a

break from work and played 5 varsity sports, training 7 hours a day plus

2004 school. I was part of the national champion track team, All-American in

soccer which took 3rd at nationals.

2004 Reach The Children

During the summer, I went to Africa with Reach the Children. I was put in

2005 Wal-Mart

charge of their desk building project. I was able to redesign the desks so

2005 that they were more sturdy and used less material. I organized man power

and finished ahead of schedule.

2006

I was about to get married and got a job at Wal-Mart while I finished up

school. My ability to learn quickly caused me to be trained in every

For 18 years, PCS had been running their installation business on paper.

They asked me to come in and create a program for them to convert

2008 everything to computers. I spent 4 months learning their system, converting

it to a program I created in Excel, and making improvements to increase

speed and accuracy of their employees.

After finishing the project with PCS, I started 2 companies of my own. One

was a real estate investment company and the other was a gymnastics

tumbling company. The real estate company did well until the housing

market crashed and all my money got tied up in houses. The tumbling

company did great up until I started working for Renfro, had my second

child, and just didn't have time to do it any more.

I stared working for Renfro in the fall of 2007. At Renfro, I am a forecast analyst for Kmart, Target, and Pearl Izume.

Kmart is a vendor managed account and so I am also the inventory manager for the business we do with Kmart. For

Target and Pearl Izume, I take sales history, trend, and seasonality and forecast up to a year their demand by week.

For Kmart I do the same thing but I also write the orders. I maintain a 96.5% presentation goal in the 75,000 store/style

combinations. I calculate ads which include instant redeemable coupons, price cuts, and buy one get one free

promotions. I factor in sales lifts, lead times, and product turns to ship goods at the right time, so that they are not there

early sitting in the back, and they are not late missing the ad. I have made several improvements to the way Renfro

manages this account and have also made improvements and helped others in their duties. I am the "go to guy" when

anyone has an Excel question. I have created macros and import sheets making 6 hour projects take only 1 hour. The

things I have done here have been exceptional and more than ever thought possible.
