hosted storage revenue stream with opportunities for additional eDiscovery service revenue from
captured data. Owned technical relationship with customer IT organization. Managed customer change
management, quarterly release/hot fix software release deployments, level-3 technical support, QA and

programs and call center services. Managed $230k monthly recurring IT services budget comprised of
fully outsourced follow-the-sun data center operations (US, Mexico, China, India), hardware, labor, and
MPLS network. Approximately 1,000 servers supporting development, QA, and production services.
Production services included Call Center, Food Stamp, UI, and WIC programs for state governments.
Project Manager for multi-data center deployment of +$1 million infrastructure for Social Security
Administration debit card program. Designed new data center layout to support Federal physical security
requirements and future growth of state programs in Primary and Fail-Over data centers. Wrote Business

Managed Program Management team delivering custom web content and WAN/WiFi hosted managed
service. Owned technical relationships with AT&T and McDonald’s. Supported re-branded AT&T WiFi
managed service and mission critical WAN/WiFi network to McDonald’s US store footprint. Managed
software release deployment to 12,000+ remote Debian Linux servers. Performed sales engineering role
to hand-held device manufacturers (e.g., iPhone, Sony, Sirius, SanDisk). Directed development and
execution of SOWs, technical writing/software release documentation and partner change management
using Agile Software Development methodology. Three direct reports leading 40 software developers,

Program Manager on the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) contract. NMCI was the world’s largest
IT project. Program objective was to utilize existing IT network infrastructure to eliminate or defer

capital expenditures from approved capital plans. Reported in tandem with Government PMO to both
EDS executive management and Navy flag command.
Coordinated and managed activities of 31 direct EDS staff and 35 indirect partner team
members. Vendor partners were Navy NETWARCOM, Navy Program Management Warfare,
Booz Allen & Hamilton, Raytheon, SAIC, Netco and IDC-MCS.
Achieved Q404 savings on unclassified bases exceeding $18M on original Q404 $37M capital
plan. Classified site ’05 ROI projected at 543% on ’05 $23M capital plan.

Proposed IT organization strategy for recently acquired business unit ($200M revenue). Engagement
documented business drivers, existing technology infrastructure, developed operating cost model and
identified critical success factors. Organization model options were IBM OnDemand services, self-
perform solution or hybrid outsourced solution.
Client successfully adopted final report enabling increased operational flexibility and generating
annual $IT/employee costs below Gartner and Meta Group benchmarks.
EXODUS COMMUNICATIONS / CABLE & WIRELESS, Austin 1999 – 2003
Manager, Austin Data Center Manager and Texas Sales Project Management
Opened 3 Austin and Dallas data centers having +270k square feet of raised floor, 39 megawatts of
backup power generation and six OC-12 circuits. Managed post-sales account management organization
responsible for data center boarding, incremental services and renewals. Over 200 customers including
American Airlines, Charles Schwab, GE, Hallmark, Janus and Peoplesoft. Recurring revenue at peak
+$3M/mo. Operating costs averaged $1.8M/mo. Managed data center shutdown and customer
migration project plans to other facilities.
Piloted asset management, AutoCAD, bill-of-materials, construction standards, document management,
GIS, and financial processes later adopted company-wide. Led data center SAS-70 certification. Trained
Japanese project management team at Tokyo data center launch.
