Project:
1. Shell Trading Gas and Power-Core Integration Framework (STGP-CIF).
Shell Trading maintains all it’s trading partners reference
data in system called RDM,which is a customised TIBCO
CIM.The RDM system is used to create and update
counterparty information and to distribute it to relevant
interested trading applications. Common Infrastructure
Framework (CIF) is a suite of application adaptors
developed using Tibco produts and it is used by Shell
Trading to integrate their existing trading applications(like
Description endur, nucleus and SAP)together. If there is an update/insert
of counterparty in the RDM,it will publish the
counterparty information into CIF environment. The
application adapters (BW processes) in CIF will transform
and translate the counterparty information and send it to
target trading applications in their respective
formats.Application adaptors uses common CIF services
such as Translation,Event Log Manager and Exception
Manager.

2. British Petroleum-NAGP Integration Project (BP)
British Petroleum- North American Gas and Power (BP-
NAGP) is principally engaged in supplying of gas to
North America as well as the largest gas and power
marketer and trader. The Company’s customers include
local distribution companies, industrial end users, power

companies, with whom trades are possible to optimize the
delivery of natural gas to our other customers. BP’s Gas
scheduling and accounting project will streamline the
processes around gas scheduling and accounting for gas,
power and emissions trades and to provide a consistent
and scaleable business process as well as supporting
system processes. This will result in less data entry in
multiple systems, fewer spreadsheets, timesavings, error
reduction, reporting consolidation and consistency. The
integration of gas scheduling and accounting with the mid
and back office systems will be accomplished using the
IST Integration Layer (IL), which is based on the TIBCO
middleware product.

6. Security Audit Software
The aim of this project is to build the Security Audit
Software that audits the reported vulnerability in the
requested software (Like ORACLE Netlistner,
MICROSOFT IIS, Apache web server etc.,) and
exposes the vulnerabilities present in the software.
This software is a collection of individual units
called Unitary-testing agents (UTA's). Each UTA
agent, which is meant to prove particular
Description
vulnerability, takes the ip address and the port
numbers as the inputs in an XML file and establishes
the connection with remote machine and sends the
data to application according to the RFC on that
particular port. The response that is given by the
remote machine is being collected by the agent and
is used to describe vulnerability of the software
tested.
