Territory Sales Representative
Duties: Responsible for driving pneumatics field sales and maintenance/engineering technical support
for the specified territory of Kentucky, West Virginia and Southern Indiana with high profile account
management responsibilities as a direct supplier representative to Toyota Motor Manufacturing entities
in Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia and Toyota’s engineering center with yearly sales of 1.4 million. I
act as a direct supplier liaison to handle any supply issues between CKD and Toyota in addition to
providing technical and sales support. Supplier duties entail handling delivery and shipment issues,
incorrect part specification reconciliation, submitting proper documentation regarding part specification,
verification of correct lead times and quantities to be used for input into Toyota’s internal parts database
for order scheduling. I also provide sales and technical support for automobile product and parts
manufacturers, original equipment manufacturers and other secondary equipment builders to Toyota in
addition to overseeing sales distribution network for specified territory. Engineering support consists of
properly sizing pneumatic components and specifying correct components depending on equipment
application. Additional duties include onsite customer sales calls, interpreting customer needs by
product introduction, addressing CKD product issues, quoting of projects/products and promotion of
CKD products to customer in general. Sales activities include making technical product presentations
to employee and management level personnel, product training with customers, daily sales calls on
current customers as well as cold calling on prospective customers to expand pneumatic market share.

Paint Production Engineering Intern

Duties: Internship position that involved working on projects in teams of engineering specialists and
managers. Involved with such engineering projects as paint conveyance noise reduction, quality
improvements, continuous improvement of processes, time studies, practical kaizen activities, energy
conservation and project management of construction for paint quality lab. Was involved with overall
maintenance activities for Paint 2 plant with regards to equipment preventative maintenance and
scheduling maintenance to be done either internally or by contractor. Performed budget tracking
activities for requisitions and invoices. In addition wrote and submitted requisitions for project funding.
Reviewed contractor quotes and scopes of work for individual jobs and assisted in coordinating projects
to be scheduled at non-production times. Also performed periodic fire and safety audits for contractors
working on site and made sure proper documentation was filled out accordingly.

Duties: Generation of industrial drawings for machinery, process tanks, mechanical, electrical and
chemical schematics. Performed onsite work involved with laying out new production machinery and
systems with the use of AutoCAD. Also supported maintenance activities with regards to internal
projects or refurbishments done to facilities or equipment. Worked with outside contractors involving
equipment installation and fabrication. Aided in designing new Alltech facilities, building sites,
