La Quinta Bloomington: Complete high-rise hotel renovation. Includes the complete remodel of

265 guest rooms and suites as well as all common areas; including, the pool, bar/restaurant area,

the addition of guest laundry and vending services, and office areas. Also includes a complete

facelift of the eighteen-story high-rise.

Holiday Inn Metrodome: Complete renovation of two floors as well as addition of two lobby ADA

restrooms.

Holiday Inn Burnsville: Addition and remodel of two lobby restrooms.

Holiday Inn Select Appletree: Remodel of two lobby restrooms as well as the renovation of the

bathrooms on all fifteen floors.

9/05 – 8/06 Midwestern Division Construction Corp. Milwaukee, WI

Superintendent

Oversaw the tenant finish-out for retail stores throughout the United States.

Lead Superintendent for the Tommy Hilfiger contract where each of the four stores cost in excess

of $2 million.

Hired qualified subcontractors while maintaining budget.

Gave direction to subcontractors while keeping them on an informed time-line for completion.

Interpreted blueprints and checked for errors while confirming that work completed by the sub-

contractors matched the blueprints.

Maintained a strict project schedule by coordinating the delivery of building materials and the

scheduling order of each subcontractor to make the job run efficiently.

Developed good relationships with inspectors and fire marshals to keep the job running smoothly.

Maintained close contact with project managers via phone and e-mail as well as maintained a daily

project log on the intranet system.

Expedited jobs by delegating tasks to other company employees and subcontractors.

Homeowners Protection Program for Milwaukee County Airport. Included meeting with clients,

pre-construction walk-throughs and measurements, and the installation of new doors, windows, and

trim. Role also consisted of giving direction to subcontractors on job mechanicals.

Lead project manager for a contract with the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Consisted of a

three-phase plan over a period of three years where we replaced “metal pan style” ceilings in the

college high-rise dormitories and commons areas. I also attended weekly project board meetings

with other subcontractors and college officials to keep the project running smoothly and on time.

Co-contributor in the designing and building of a cashier area and “Fire-Keepers” booths for

Potowatomi Casino in Milwaukee, WI. The project entailed custom cabinetry and other “high end”

finish carpentry work as well as managing project subcontractors. Role also consisted of meeting

with Tribe-Officials on design specifications.

Lead Installer for a contract with Home Depot that entailed the installation of complete kitchen

and bathroom cabinetry in residential and commercial settings through-out southern Wisconsin.

8/99 – 5/01 NorthStar Contracting Appleton, WI

Carpenter

Performed construction tasks such as finish work, hanging dry wall, and demolition.

Aided in the production of plastic laminate or wood veneer style cabinetry and countertops, which

included articulate carpentry work to include the manufacturing of bars and other restaurant and

commercial fixtures.

Installed modular workstations to various local businesses.

career.

Computer knowledge: Can navigate Microsoft Office software and windows-based applications,

word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs, Prolog, some Auto-Cad and Chief Architect,

as well as Excel, Timberline, Microsoft Project, Primavera and Projectmates. Currently scheduling

most of my projects on Primavera Contractor 6.1.

Volunteered time to local Habitat for Humanity as well as construction-work to my local church.
