PROJECT MANAGER
Polivka International Warren, Ohio 7-05 to 2-06
Project manager for a four hundred thousand cubic yard excavation. Object of
project was to daylight a six hundred foot long railroad tunnel. Duties included
working with the railroad and the construction management company, providing
proper equipment, machinery, manpower for the foreman, working with
property owners, and local officials. Other duties include equipment
maintenance issues, material logistics, safety, procurement and record keeping.
Project closed down.
SHIFT MANAGER
RMI Titanium Niles, Ohio 3/00 to 6/05
Supervised operations of Titanium sheet and plate manufacturing processes.
This included scheduling work centers, meeting quality standards,
maintenance, repairs, and dealing with personnel issues. Work is accomplished
adhering to extremely high quality standards for products ranging from golf clubs
to structural members for the aircraft industry. Other responsibilities in the area include:
automatic welders, side shear, end shear, sixty inch band saws, flame cutters,
annealing furnaces, creep flattening beds.
TERMINAL MANAGER/MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Remington Freight Lines Mineral Ridge, Ohio 11/98-3/00
Managed day to day operations of freight terminal. This includes shop mechanics,
dock workers, drivers and office workers. Company closed.
PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Oxford Automotive Masury, Ohio 8/98-11/98
Responsible for three press lines using 30 to 35 operators. Work with die setters and
maintenance departments to keep lines running and productive. Assign work and
take care of problems as they arise. Company closed location.
SUPERVISOR
Trumbull Industries Warren, Ohio 10/95-8/98
Responsibilities included hiring and training employees, who pick and pack material,
load on trucks in proper order for delivery to customer.
OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
Spartan Express, Div. Of Roadway Express Cleveland, Ohio 3/94-10/95
Responsible for movement of 400,000 to 600,000 lbs. of inbound freight through ter-
minal and out to customers on a daily basis. This was accomplished with a 15 man
dock crew. Goal was to make the best use of delivering driver's time and company
equipment. Company closed.
GARAGE OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Responsible for all phases of maintenance facility. Supervised 15 mechanics per-
forming preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs on all types of vehicles
including, small vans, class 8 semis and specialized equipment. Other duties in-
cluded training, DOT compliance, and environmental concerns.

Performed oil changes and minor auto repairs on approximately 400 cars per month.
MAINTENANCE MANAGER /TERMINAL OPERATIONS MANAGER
Roadway Express Denver, Colorado 3/78-2/90
Operations Manager -Managed operations of 100 door breakbulk terminal for nationwide
common carrier. Responsible for dock operations, linehaul operations, city dispatch, and
fleet maintenance department: managed team of eight to ten supervisors, numerous clerks
and labor force of 110 employees.
Maintenance Manager- Responsible for vehicle and plant maintenance. This included fifty
city tractors, 25 over the road tractors, forklifts, and three hundred trailers. Duties included
scheduling preventive maintenance, unscheduled repairs and breakdowns, working with
vendors, setting up suppliers. Other duties included maintenance and repair on the physical
building and grounds. This included HVAC system, fuel and oil dispensing systems,
building repairs and any other maintenance issues that came up.
