committee and participating in due diligence conference calls with the sponsor and target management

• Participated in extensive target due diligence and performed leveraged buyout analysis for a $500 million

acquisition of an engineering and technology services company by a financial sponsor

• Recommended strategic opportunities to both strategic and financial buyers in order to enhance industry

platforms through acquisitions in the security, employment and marketing services sector to increase valuation

multiples and competitiveness in the marketplace

Sell-side Advisory:

• Executed a $250 million mandate by working closely with the senior executives of Alberto-Culver and

potential buyers to divest the Cederroth International business to CapMan, a leading Nordic based private

equity fund

• Advised a strategic consumer client on a $750 million mandate to evaluate strategic alternatives for its

European bakery division

• Presented strategic options to a software security detection client covering M&A, spin-off and sector trends

Capital Markets:

• Evaluated various financing alternatives for a large-cap consumer company with excess balance sheet cash and

presented options to the CFO, including acquisition financing / share repurchases and capital structure

modification through an $800 million senior notes offering

• Worked with ratings agencies to assess ratings impact for various debt/equity transactions

• Led cross-functional team for the amendment of SkillSoft’s existing credit agreement, allowing the company to

repurchase shares at an accelerated pace
