With over $1.6B of potential transactions in the acquisitions funnel, my experience encompasses much of the

M&A process. My work is a major factor in the strategic plans and accounted for 50% of projected growth for 3

divisions with $3.2B in revenues. Responsibility included interfacing with the COO and managing directors to

identify strategic growth opportunities, targeting companies that fit acquisition criteria, assessing products and

services, assessing financials and initiating approach with senior management. Identified, approached and bid on

15 targets with values in excess of $720M.

ADT ENTERPRISES, (DAYTON, OHIO) (2007 – 2008)

CONSULTANT

Developed operations, financial and business plans for entrepreneurs and small businesses with focus on

executions strategies and go-to-market plans. Developed product road maps, 5-year P&L forecasts, cash flow

analysis, channel and sales strategies and operational processes.

REYNOLDS & REYNOLDS ($2B software & services company, automotive industry), (Dayton, Ohio) (1998 – 2007)

SENIOR DIRECTOR, BUSINESS OPERATIONS - LATIN AMERICA (2006 – 2007)

Initiated development and implementation of global expansion by implementing a new go-to-market strategy to

drive growth through a new organization, infrastructure, partnerships and product strategy. Developed budgets

and managed P&L. Results included:

$23M automotive ERP deal negotiated with Volkswagen. Developed effective execution plans.

$3.2M deal signed with BMW for automotive retailers to implement ERP systems. Initiated successful

rollout.

$7.0M incremental revenue in business process consulting through new product development. Managed

team of 10 consultants and optimized utilization, revenue and cost infrastructure. Maintained 45% gross

margin.

SENIOR DIRECTOR, INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS (2005 – 2006)

maintaining pre-tax profits of 20%:

DIRECTOR, MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS (2003 – 2005)

As a member of the mergers and acquisitions team, owned all integration and divestiture activities for Reynolds.

• Established and directed implementation and management of several acquisitions and divestitures worth in

excess of $93M on time and with no interruptions to business operations.

o Completed acquisition, integration and initial operations phase for two acquisitions including two

European entities. Also, led and completed development and execution for divestiture of two

business units.

• Established new integration processes and guidelines for all future acquisitions and divestitures covering all

functional areas within company.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, NEW MARKETS (2002 – 2003)

Established organization with staff of 50+ throughout US to support full business operations.

Developed operational and business plans for a new company spin-off. This included: identifying ERP

systems and vendors; human resource systems needs; product line definition and development plans; facility

requirements; vendor selections; and development of relationships with potential partners.

SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER (1998 – 2002)

Led all phases of product development including functional specifications, market segmentation, RFPs, data

centers hosting strategies, contracts negotiations, vendor relationships, pricing strategies, sales and distribution

channels definition, customer service, internal and external SLAs, P&L and the go-to-market strategy.

• Created $120 million in contract revenues through new product lines.

• Developed and led a team of 85 people in a cross-functional organizational in creating new product

processes including: sales and marketing, legal requirements, sales systems development, provisioning

process, product installation and maintenance, billing requirements and design requirements.

KENTZ, INTERNATIONAL (AN INTERNATIONAL IRISH COMPANY) (1993 – 1997)

SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER / PROJECT MANAGER

Managed 22 projects in the oil and gas industries that included design for data and telecommunications

infrastructure. Projects were completed on time and within budget. Maintained 90%+ manpower utilizations

rates.

Prepared and won project proposals for 12 projects valued at $5M. Developed technical evaluations and

commercial proposal and led all LAN and WAN engineering, expansion, installation and detailed design.

AT&T LIBERTY, SOUTH CAROLINA (1989 – 1993)

TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT

Provided data and voice infrastructure engineering and support to enable manufacturing operations.

Responsibility for engineering, installations and maintenance of all voice and data networks including telephony

(PBX), LAN, servers, operating systems, WAN, access networks, voice mail systems and call accounting.

UNITED STATES AIR FORCE, GERMANY (1982 – 1989)

SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS AND TELEPHONE SWITCHING SUPERVISOR

Supervised operations of three Defense Satellite Communications Terminals in support of USAF Headquarters,

Europe. Developed training curricula, and supervised 15 people. Oversaw operations and maintenance of

telephone central office systems and maintained secret clearance during my military tenure.
