Joined California-based property management and real estate development company to expand its
operations on the East Coast in luxury active senior facilities. Manage and oversee the daily

states. Direct oversight of tax credit multi-family complexes with extensive grounds, pool and
clubhouse facilities, total operating budget of $2.5 million. Supervision of 9 staff members; including
hands-on management of daily operations, inventory, rent roll and collections, marketing,
maintenance, vendor contracts, payroll, utilities, capital expenses, replacement reserve, pool and
clubhouse, bi-weekly reporting to investors, staff training and development.
• Increased occupancy rate to 97% while reducing vacancy loss by 86% within six months.
Simultaneously brought 154 files into compliance, including historical compliance for previous
3 years, resulting in first-ever “Above Average” score from Community Development
Administration of Maryland and “No Findings” rating from the Maryland Department of
Housing and Community Development Compliance Inspector. Received letter of exceptional
work in the improvement of the property and files from H.A.I.’s Director of Compliance and
Support.
