for the Rock Creek Region, including 11 sites, totaling over 1300 units. Directly responsible for

development, implementation and administration of all facets of public housing developments for the

Joined California-based property management and real estate development company to expand its

operations on the East Coast in luxury active senior facilities. Manage and oversee the daily

operations; budget oversight of $3.5 million, plus $380,000 renovation project. Direct management of

leasing, administrative and maintenance specialists, events coordinator and tenant services staff.

Serve as community liaison to the Kentlands Board of Directors and City of Gaithersburg. Audit all

weekly and month-end reports; perform all weekly and month-end occupancy reporting. Initiate and

Companies, a consortium of full-service real estate firms with a portfolio including apartment

complexes, hotels, retirement communities, commercial and industrial office space operating in 9

states. Direct oversight of tax credit multi-family complexes with extensive grounds, pool and

clubhouse facilities, total operating budget of $2.5 million. Supervision of 9 staff members; including

hands-on management of daily operations, inventory, rent roll and collections, marketing,

maintenance, vendor contracts, payroll, utilities, capital expenses, replacement reserve, pool and

clubhouse, bi-weekly reporting to investors, staff training and development.

• Increased occupancy rate to 97% while reducing vacancy loss by 86% within six months.

Simultaneously brought 154 files into compliance, including historical compliance for previous

3 years, resulting in first-ever “Above Average” score from Community Development

Administration of Maryland and “No Findings” rating from the Maryland Department of

Housing and Community Development Compliance Inspector. Received letter of exceptional

work in the improvement of the property and files from H.A.I.’s Director of Compliance and

Support.

• Maintained 3- to 6-month waiting list for units.

• Created and revised leasing agreements, forms and community policies, currently utilized
