Design for Six Sigma

Participated in a team of six for DFSS Project named “Optimization of air handling system and it’s mounting arrangement for gensets

ranging from 320-1500 kVA”, Used tools such as Customer Selection Matrix, VOC, KJ, CPM, DFMEA, in correspondence with

Fleetguard to optimize the no. of air cleaners.

and Cummins Plant (C-series) Division: Released Engineering Job Requests (EJR), Options, Installation Diagrams to change

phase of parts from “D” (Design) to “P” (Production) to modify and convert structure level shop orders to Option shop orders

using Mainframe (IMS), and GIEA on the basis of Finite Element Analysis Stress Test Technical Report.

2. VPI Database Development: Compiled Data to create VPI database for making user friendly portal information which will

provide CPG the foundation to achieve Cummins Design sell anywhere strategy.
