Purchasing Manager
Responsible for worldwide procurement of materials, parts, equipment and engineering services. Processed
purchase/change orders and worked with internal service management groups and departments to address
supplier-related issues in automotive manufacturing environment. Identified and explored key global suppliers
and monitored supplier performance with respect to quality/delivery requirements. Participated in special
projects, expedited processing of critical parts, and updated and maintained records. Successfully achieved cost
reduction and productivity improvement. Developed and managed Chinese suppliers of key commodities.
Developed and implemented inventory control systems, policies and procedures in shared services

Responsible for product sourcing, pricing, cost reduction, risk management, and bid strategy development,
