2008-2009 DILL AIR CONTROLS (Former Division of Eaton Corp.) (Oxford, North Carolina)

Purchasing Manager

Responsible for worldwide procurement of materials, parts, equipment and engineering services. Processed

purchase/change orders and worked with internal service management groups and departments to address

supplier-related issues in automotive manufacturing environment. Identified and explored key global suppliers

and monitored supplier performance with respect to quality/delivery requirements. Participated in special

projects, expedited processing of critical parts, and updated and maintained records. Successfully achieved cost

reduction and productivity improvement. Developed and managed Chinese suppliers of key commodities.

Developed and implemented inventory control systems, policies and procedures in shared services

environment. Solicited formal and informal bids for requested goods and services. Provided analysis of data

2007-2008 SUNTECH MEDICAL (Raleigh, NC)

Assisted VP of Global Operations in setting up new medical device operations in China. Oversaw interior factory

construction. Worked with legal counsel and environmental consultants as well as local government officials in

registering with Whole Foreign Owned Entity (WFOE), setting up business accounts, recruiting management

teams, and transferring production lines from the US to China.

2005-2007 PIEDMOUNT TRADING INC(Raleigh, NC)

Sales Manager for Asian Market

Responsible for product sourcing, pricing, cost reduction, risk management, and bid strategy development,

including Standardized Bid Package development. Provided purchase orders and all requisite transactional

supporting documentation. Coordinated with global suppliers and logistics and sales teams with respect to all

transactions between North and South America and Asia.
