Michael Brandman Associates – GIS Technician (May 2008 – May 2009)- Creation of CEQA/NEPA
exhibits for Cultural, Biological, Regulatory, Wetland, Hazardous Material, and Environmental
Impact Reports. Implementation of a Greenhouse Gas Analysis geodatabase. Apply spatial
analyst techniques to air quality data. GIS analysis of 500kV and 230kV transmission lines
through CNDDB and USACE wetland areas. Management of geodatabases with multiple

Santa Barbara County Public Works Department - Internship (September 2007 – February 2008)-
Use GIS to digitize the creek and stream network to pinpoint pollution in Santa Barbara County.

preparation of historical aerial imagery of California cities from present day to first available
aerial photo mosaics using aerial interpretation and image manipulation.
NCC and Santa Barbara Staffing – Management Recruiter Internship (June 2005 – August 2005)-
Clerical work and cold calling for a successful company in the Santa Barbara area, specializing
in recruiting for insurance, biomedical, executive and temporary positions nationwide.
UCSB NCAA Division I Men’s Water Polo Team (June 2003 – August 2007) – Participated in a
mentally, physically and temporally demanding sport all four years, while being the only GIS
student on the team.
Dos Pueblos High School Girls Water Polo Coach – Novice, Junior Varsity & Assistant Varsity
Coach (November 2005 – February 2008) – CIF Division II Champions. Applied leadership and
communication skills as a player to coach student-athletes in all of three participating high
school levels.
