Regional Sales Manager (2002 – 2008)

Recruited to grow brand presence, increase sales, and provide customer service across western region .

Currently train, mentor, and direct 25-member Mfg. Rep Sales force, Call on customers in field (all 50 States),

and revitalize former customers increasing their sales. Present and Develop new products within distributor

base. Develop sales in new customer base areas including wholesale distributor, Internet and Mass

Merchandising.,

Challenges: No outside sales force and declining automotive market causing a decline in available

customers to sale too. High amount of disgruntled customers who had quit buying.

Consistently added 10 new customers per year by traveling all 50 states and working directly with

distributors overcoming concerns and meeting needs.

Returned 15 disgruntled distributors to current buying status, several of which now purchase over

$100,000 per year. Added additional lines to customer mix to improve overall sales

DAWS MANUFACTURING – Las Vegas, NV

Western Regional Sales Manager – Operations Manager (1995-2002)

Directed all marketing, sales and business development activities for a new west coast regional warehouse

opening in Las Vegas, NV. This included finding and developing new and existing accounts, hiring and

training all personnel for warehouse, ordering inventory for West coast, and increasing sales in the West.

Challenges: Open a new region, setting up a warehouse operation, finding and developing customers

for warehouse to support. and increasing customer sales in the West. The West coast warehouse had

to stand alone and support itself, separately from the home office in Florida.

Drove revenue growth over 200% - from $200,000 to $1 million annually. This included growing

account base from 15 customers to over 65 customers in 7 years.

Established Profitable Regional Warehouse Operation, in all phases, including hiring all support

personal, ordering all inventory and setting up inventory control procedures, and maintaining schedule of

calling on distributors on the road.

Developed Manufacture Rep. Sales Rep Force by hiring and training 18 Sales Reps in the West

FEY AUTOMOTIVE – Atlanta, GA.

South East Regional Sales Manager- Operations Manager (1989 – 1995)

Designed and developed South East Regional Warehouse for a California based company. Responsible for

setting up entire operation which included designing and setting up building for inventory, hiring all employees,

and managing a profitable warehouse. Promoted to Regional Sales Manager 1 year after warehouse opened up.

Challenges: Set up a turn key regional warehouse operation to support customer sales in southeast.

Call on customers, in the field, on a regular basis and increase sales and customer base in the

southeast.

Played key role in setting up a successful Southeast Regional Warehouse, hiring key personal to take

care of all company functions from the Southeast. Order Inventory and set up inventory control

Store Manager (1981-1989)

Directed entire store operation in four different stores. Duties included human resource management, increasing

Profit Margins, establishing inventory controls, buying and merchandising of products in store.

Challenges: Store Manager Promotions were based on a combination of Profit margin increases, sales

increase, and shrinkage control.

Increased Profit Margin and decreased shrinkage loss in four different stores which led to a new

promotion every two years to a larger store. Store sizes ranged from $600,000 to $4 million dollars per

year.

Annual Sales Increase in every store ranging from 5 to 15 percent
