Research Experience
Traffic Engineering Operations on Unser Blvd June 2008 to Present
Developed signal timing plan on this corridor taking the existing traffic data into account.
Used MioVision automated traffic counter on all the intersections to obtain traffic data and compared
them with existing city data and developed an extensive model for optimizing signal timing plans.
Investigation of Peak flow variation
Collected and analyzed field data of signalized and unsignalized intersections to observe variations in
peak flow factors
Developed a time series model that can predict peak flow variations in short time intervals
Albuquerque Guide for International Students August 2007 to June 2008
Developed a city wide plan for newly arriving International students in University of New Mexico.
Developed easy transportation access model to school, nearby recreational places, housing, bus
routes, and bike paths using ARC GIS application.
