agreement, etc.), as part of the credit reevaluation process to determine if the

collateral pledged is sufficient to cover the account's current or anticipated credit

exposure.

Process receivables into cash as quickly as possible, using collection methods that

are cost efficient and that reflects the company's management policy.

Determine why an account is overdue and work with the customer to bring the

account current. An aggressive approach to collection efforts.

Determine whether future shipments should be held until the account is current and

notify the sales representative with respect to this action.

Set collection priorities based upon collection goals established by upper

management while providing them with reports concerning delinquent accounts,

credit holds, and potential bad-debt write-offs.

Determine when to sever the relationship with a customer and place accounts for

collection, file against payment bond surety, file a mechanic's lien or turn the account

over to an attorney to file suit.
