Mgr (ISO9000), Shipping Mgr and 150 direct reports. Duties include Safety Chairman (OSHA), Hazardous Waste
Chairman (EPA), production, quality, warehouse, purchasing and maintenance.
Reduced reportable accidents 42% through written procedural changes and quarterly training.
Increased productivity 12% (78k-89k) and cut the CPH 9% ($0.078-0.70) by reducing daily downtime

Manufacturing Manager – Web printing, packaging and equipment manufacturer. 12 color presses, collating,
cutting, padding, and packaging. Responsible for 8 departments, a production manager, master scheduler (8 total
direct reports) and 350 non-direct reports in a 3-shift operation. Duties include safety board (OSHA), production,
quality and employee development. Accomplishments include:
Increased productivity 68% (4.92/cph to 7.23) through cellular techniques. Cost savings $171,400.00.
Implemented QC Dept. reducing customer complaints 69% and rework 38%. Cost savings $32,100.
Increased pressroom run time 18% by implementing set up crews (pull system). Cost savings $42,500.
Implemented Scrap Performance Program (peer & pride) increasing production. Cost savings $172,700.00.
Heinz Frozen Foods, Inc. Massillon, Ohio 1988-1993
Production/Sanitation Supervisor – Responsible for supervising production crews of 18-45 employees on
various production lines or sanitation department for preparation and daily USDA/FDA inspection. Training in
HACCP/GMP’s/QS9000/TQM. Duties included safety board, assigning primary and secondary jobs, training,
setup, scheduling, problem solving and quality control. Accomplishments include:
Safety awareness in a department with the worst safety record was increased to obtain 400 safe days.
Shift standard increased 63% through employee rotation (cellular). Cost savings of $60,445.00 per year.
Work time maximized by changing break schedule with cost savings of $27,846.00 per year.
Redefined job descriptions and duties reducing manning 9.4% (lean), for a cost savings of $112,320.00.
Paumier - Machine Shop Massillon, Ohio 1983-1988
Production Supervisor–Die making and metal fabrication, Tier 1 & 2 and government contracts. Responsible for
supervising Punch Presses, Heat Treat, Assembly, and Machining CNC Dept. Duties include safety director,
quality control, setup, maintenance, scheduling, shipping, and receiving. Accomplishments include:
Engineered an assembly stand for a repetitive Ford Motor Co. part that increased hand assembly of 275%
(400 pieces per shift to 1,150 pieces per shift) for cost savings of $38,111. 00.
Implemented SPC program to improve Quality.
Increased punch presses and roll formers efficiencies 22% by better scheduling methods.
Developed the company’s first lock out tag out program, consequently, all safety protocols.
