Avon is a cosmetics company available to consumers in more than 100 countries with Almost 5
million Representatives around the world. This project involved integrating Oracle’s Enterprise
One (JD Edwards) system with Legacy and 3rd party system’s.
Enterprise Data Center (EDC) is a unique facility for the Avon Co. to give Technical and
Functional support in Onsite-Off-shore model. EDC has been a successful concept to provide
Production Support in the areas like web Methods 6.1 AND 7.X, JDE, and Database
Administration. Customer’s technical Problems, new developments and enhancements are
resolved on the priority basis.
The Project McConnell is a major business initiative based on corporation’s Supply chain
strategy. Integrations are one of the major components of this large complex project.
Integrating Central Master Data (ePim) to E1, Macpac, and other systems for all markets (NA,
CA, EMEA, LATM, Brazil).
Avon has launched new distribution center in Zanesville (OH). For that they launched new
warehouse management system WMOS (Manhattan Associates). So the project is to sync E1
and WMOS. All warehouse management transactions in WMOS should be updated to E1 and
vice versa.
Responsibilities:
Create and manage Regional webMethods environments – (NA, EMEA, LA, Brazil)
Apply webMethods service packs, fix and upgrades.
Perform webMethods code deployment, manage package dependencies.
Monitor and troubleshoot real-time events in webMethods Integration and nightly
batch issues.

in Production across the BASF (Engelhard Global Enterprise) spanning different sites
in North America, Japan and Europe.

Monitor In-box of the WorldAccount_S2S_Support mailbox every 1 hour.
Use scripts to handle In-box emails (these are located in the S2S_Task database ). If

Elemica acts as an electronic hub for the chemical industry. It supports the use of Chemical
Industry XML data interchange standard – CIDX Chem eStandards/Chem XML. Elemica
supports conversion between various data interchange versions and data standards.
Develops data interchange business process rules and in some cases enforces them.
By defining standards, ERP systems for a buyer and a supplier can be networked via
Elemica. This allows data that is required for an order to be transmitted quickly and
securely anywhere in the world.
