savings from the trouble shooting is multi millions of dollar in terms of Engine build delays
and cost avoidance due to potential premature field failures.
* Leadership role in identifying and applying two promising high temperature corrosion
resistant superalloys for injector tip and combustor application. Identified and characterized
better fatigue and stress corrosion resistant disk, spacer, shaft, cone, hub materials.
* Played key role as MRB and Hot CAM M&P focal point and eliminated several major
Nonconformance root causes in shortest period of time. Contributed for several new
drawings, Specifications, processes. Played key role in developing Combustion Swirlers,
Brazing and Laser Welding of combustion including liner processes.
