One year research work has been done at National Chemical Laboratory, Pune,

During research period evaluated polymer-polymer miscibility based on the

extent of interaction between them.

Investigated interpolymer interactions by determining intrinsic viscosity of

polymer blends.

Developed drug embedded coherent films from polymer blends and evaluated

drug release profile at varied pH mimicking physiological conditions. Treated the

data with standard equations.

Investigated the influence of polymer-polymer blending on drug release

mechanism.

Investigated the blend composition of polymers can be used successfully in

controlled drug delivery. Investigated polymer blends would allow a high degree

of flexibility to adjust a desired release profile in targeted pH medium.
