Purchased seed cleaning facility and grain elevator on 7 acre site in 2001, created market niche, and converted to
production and export of food grade soybeans. Managed day-to-day operations, including oversight of plant manager
with 11 full-time and up to 12 part- time employees, until hiring general manager in 2004. Created business plan, built
client base, performed sales and marketing functions, directed finances, contracted with local farmers and truck, rail
and freight companies, and managed logistics. Developed/selected seed specialized seed and coordinated harvesting
and production.

• Drove 20% annual sales growth resulting in $10.5M sales in 2008.
• Secured and renewed $2M line of credit through SBA and Exim Bank to finance operation; gained SBA

assisted supplier with various issues.
