• Optimum Power Splitting of Dual Power Source in Series Hydraulic Hybrid Vehicles:
created and validated simulation model by Matlab/Simulink, developed intelligent power
management control strategies with dynamic programming and artificial neural network,
and helped advisor to apply for US patent.
• Controller for Hydraulic Actuator System: built hydraulic actuator tester, developed a
valid control strategy with fuzzy logic and PID, designed hardware circuits, programmed
embedded system codes, and completed a successful physical controller prototype.
• Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) System and Battery Power Management: co-
designed a boost DC-DC converter with MPPT technique, and performed analytical
simulation (PSpice and Matlab).
