Commercial and industrial HVAC contractor and custom sheet metal fabricator. HVAC service and installation focused

on commercial and manufacturing buildings. Dust and mist collection systems for manufacturing processes, ventilation

systems. Sheet metal fabrication for machine replacement parts, roofing, architectural, NSF stainless steel for food

equipment and HVAC duct work.

President/owner - HVAC Spec-bid quoting utilizing Maxwell Systems Estimation software, project management for

equipment installation, government contract management, union contract administration (Sheet Metal Workers, Plumbers

and Pipefitters), cost accounting, sheet metal fabrication quoting, shop floor management and all other functions required

to operate a small business.

Key customers included Birdseye Foods, FritoLay, TH Foods, Rockford Products, Dean Foods, Textron, Schaumburg

The ability to grow this company over the next 2 years given the weak HVAC industry outlook led to the decision to wind

Agent/owner - Agency started from scratch and sold in April 2007. Book of business included personal and commercial

policies. Personal policies included life, health and financial services. Commercial policies included workers

compensation. Multiple policies sold to individual customers. Have maintained State of Wisconsin insurance license and

Series 6 & 63 license for financial services.

Suntec Industries, Inc., Rockford, IL. October 1987 to July 2001

Fuel oil pump manufacturer supplying oil heating equipment manufacturers and end users. Company was sold to a

financial group July 2001 to the benefit of the shareholders.

President/shareholder (December 1994 to July 2001). Complete profit & loss responsibility for this $17.5 million

company. Gross profit at 35% with over 20% EBITDA. Significant contribution to debt fee status at time of sale and the

high sell price multiple.

Increased market share over 20% by developing close relationships with key OEM and distribution customers. Managed

two (2) production facilities (Illinois and Kentucky - union and non-union). Improved manufacturing operations through

Lean, Six Sigma process improvement. Sales and marketing, new product development, engineering, supply

management, human resource management, union relations and contract negotiations, financial management.

Implemented employee involvement meetings throughout the organization with resulting assigned action items that

became the basis of the company’s financial success.
