Lead Developer and Functional Support Consultant, Charlotte, NC, May 2005 to Present

Analyze and automate Business Processes and provide ongoing technical support through these activities:

eForms Application Development and Support, Duke Energy, Charlotte, NC, November 2005 till date

Developed automated and user-driven electronic business processes simulating the existing manual

process using Metastorm BPM v7.x tool, Visual Studio.Net, SQL 2000/2005 and Oracle.

Developed and currently supporting 76 individual business processes using Metastorm Designer

leveraging the Metastorm BPM Process Engine for managing the process workflow. Most of the business

processes are completely independent applications having own User Interface and unique workflow

design automating data flow between multiple transaction systems.

Developed metastorm application leveraging the messaging capability of the BPM tool to integrate two

diversified applications using IBM MQ Series.

Used Metastorm Designer Tool exhaustively to build complex workflow applications and User Interfaces.

Developed custom web features embedded within Metastorm Form based user interfaces utilizing CSS,

iFrame, DHTML, XML Data islands and AJAX.

Developed custom Metastorm applications using the BPM Webservices Orchestrator and Visual Studio

Worked closely with the Metastorm Vendor Contact in setting up the Metastorm Process Engine and

Database Infrastructure.

Developed custom .net based functionalities e.g. EmployeeLookup, custom ListPicker, ExportToExcel

functionalities to integrate with Metastorm Designer based processes for enhanced user experience.

Implemented common processes e.g. Scheduled Reminder Notification, Retention Processing, Scheduled

Purge Processes using Metastorm BPM Tool and SQL Server.

Designed and built SQL jobs for data management needs of eForms Application e.g. Employee Datapull,

Purge Process, and other custom data needs for individual processes.

Developed enterprise ETL processes to automate data extraction, transformation and load (ETL) between

various enterprise data stores using Informatica, Ab Initio, Cybermation and SQL technologies.

Developed prototype to access and validate user login information using User Authentication Web Service

and implemented the reusable solution in Production.

Developed reusable solutions to validate Accounting data to validate against Peoplesoft system and using

Peoplesoft Webservice. Implemented the above solution in 6 electronic forms to provide real-time

accounting user-entry validation against Peoplesoft.

Senior System Analyst and Team Lead, Bloomington, IL

Worked in a Senior System Analyst, Team Lead and Technical Support role for the following clients and

projects:

Eforms Enterprise App. Integration, State Farm Insurance, Bloomington, IL, November 2004 to April 2005

Successfully designed and implemented new Domino-MQSeries based application capable of sending

message triggers to the mainframe application asynchronously executes backend programs. This

eliminated the need of a Third Party tool NotesPump to achieve the same functionality.

Contributed largely towards the technology selection and prototype building and demonstration to the

business owners for project approval.

Demonstrated leadership in expanding the scope of the project and automate additional key process to

synchronize data submitted via user-driven EForms hosted on Lotus Notes with the Mainframe database

using MQLSX API.

Developed a comprehensive GUI using web technologies such as HTML, CSS, AJAX, and Lotus Script,

Notes Java Agents to manage the App Integration Tool.

Jet Forms Conversion, State Farm Insurance, IL, December 2003 to October 2004

Developed prototype for the Jet Forms Conversion project using Adobe Life Cycle (Adobe Professional),

AJAX, Advanced Lotus Script, Notes Domino Java Agents and Adobe Forms Server running on

Websphere Application Development Server (WSAD).

Developed generic Java servlet to accept and merge data from a web-form and dynamically build Adobe

XDP form Adobe rendering process running a WSAD. The above process demanded extensive command

over XML technologies e.g. XML island, XPath, XSLT.

Designed a web hosting interface and authentication model for the converted web-forms application.

Played key role as liaison between business client and vendor (Adobe) in understanding the business

needs and communicating with the vendor to obtain assistance for technical challenges encountered during

the project.

Eforms Application Enhancement, Testing and Support, State Farm Insurance, July 2000 to November

2003

Managed and coordinated a team of application developers to brainstorm and devise an email archival

strategy and successfully implemented the email archival solution for 17000 Notes Email users across

Corporate.

Managed five member development team to build a three-tier integrated application utilizing Ab Initio,

Visual Studio, C# to integrate Peoplesoft and Mainframes to share key auto claims data between the two

environments and automate the risk management.

Built a web portal to host the user-driven electronic forms on a domino server enabling electronic data

storage and management. This project achieved appreciation from client due to the overall cost savings as

the paper forms processing was eliminated by almost 40 percent.

Further integrated the above electronic forms application with Outlook 2000 using Visual Basic, CDO and

MAPI to leverage the forms workflow processing using Microsoft Outlook.

Designed and developed add-on components to the electronic forms application e.g. Review Subform,

Background Mailing, Profile Lookup) etc to enhance the user experience and streamline the design

process for additional forms.

Worked on a server migration strategy with Domino Server administrators to migrate the eForms

Application from one server to a multi-server environment with absolute transparency to end users and

implemented the project successfully.

Performed Load Testing and Performance Testing of EForms Portal and Domino Servers using Mercury

Testing tools e.g. WinRunner and Quick Test Professional (QTP).

Worked with IBM Lotus for Software Upgrades, Performance Tuning, and Technical Issue resolution on-

demand basis.

SFI General Maintenance, Satyam Computer Services, November 1997 to June 2000

Developed utility applications using REXX and Assembler logical path analysis of COBOL and PL/I

modules. This utility application assisted in analyzing the modules at runtime to identify any missing

logical paths and improved the code performance significantly.

Extensively worked on Mainframes using COBOL, PL/I and non-relational databases (IMS DB, VSAM

files) per the client requirement.

Performed full lifecycle software development starting with requirement analysis, design, and
