Senior Director of Sales and Business Development

Responsible for evaluating potential M&A candidates for the ACVS SBU while creating and expanding the

sales and support organization for the recently acquired CCTV and Access control companies. Entails

working with the American Dynamics and SWH R&D, Brand Management, Product Management, Marketing

and Global Sales organizations in the creation and execution of a business plan for the expansion from a

leading provider of Security Hardware Solutions into the Video Analytics, Intelligent Software and IP arena.

The role includes educating, training and supporting the sales initiatives for the upcoming launch of this new

Video Intelligence Software platform for the Access Control and Video Systems SBU., Acting as an

evangelist to the channels and customers for this emerging technology. Working closely with the VP of Sales

in NA and EMEA, the role was created to formulate and execute global sales and channel strategy to support

the successful launch of the newly acquired Tyco offerings and building and managing an IT-savvy sales

organization to support the opportunities and additional P&L that this new product line will generate.

01/05 to 06/08 –Tyco Safety Products, Singapore, Asia

Director of Sales and Operations, Asia Pacific Region

Created and managed a Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Engineering and Operations organization

to support the sales of the various Tyco Brands of Access Control and Video Systems (ACVS) products

throughout the Asia Pacific Region. The AP Region encompassed 15 countries in Asia plus Australia and

New Zealand. Primary role was to grow ACVS sales within the Region, Identify Emerging Markets for organic

growth and investment and create a dual sales channel model that enlists trains and supports the Tyco

Direct sales organization (ADT), as well as, building and supporting an external Systems Integration and

Distribution Channel in their efforts to sell the Tyco branded CCTV and Access Control products.

Responsible for formulating and executing the go-to-market strategy for the Region, attracting and

contracting OEM/ODM partners, planning and overseeing the opening of a new Tyco manufacturing facility in

Shanghai, China and generating double digit revenue growth . Consistently delivered annual growth of 50%+

in emerging markets

09/03 to 01/05 –Tyco Fire & Security, Boca Raton, FL

Director of Intercompany Sales, CCTV & Access Control Products

Created and managed Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Product Support organizations to support the sales

of the various Tyco Brands of CCTV and Access Control Products through the Intercompany organizations in

North America. Primary role was to grow the direct business and to manage and expand the ADT

relationship. Enlisted and trained the Manufacturing Representative organizations to support the various

Intercompany organizations with respect to TF&S CCTV and Access Control product sales. This

Intercompany business delivered over $130M in revenues for ACVS.

05/03 to 01/05 – Tyco Fire & Security, Kantech Systems, US and Canada

Director of Sales and Operations, Access Control Products, North America

Responsible for creating and managing the Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product Development,

organizations for the Kantech Access Control Systems worldwide. Primary role was to expand the current

business model beyond distribution to include dealers and systems integration companies and to manage

the ADT relationship. Also responsible for enlisting, training and managing Manufacturing Representative

organizations to sell and support the Kantech product offerings.

closely with the VP of Business Development to create the corporate sales strategy for the recruitment,

qualification, training and engaging with MCSP Channel Partners on a national basis. Created and

implemented the channel and sales strategy to support the Regional Sales Managers and Channel Partners
