The Tapco Group/Atlantic Premium Shutters – Wixom, Michigan

The Tapco Group is a manufacturer of exterior building products for the building materials

industry. Atlantic Shutters is a manufacturer of high end, custom exterior shutters built from

modern composite products.

Oversee all sales and business development functions, including new product rollouts, key account

management, customer relationship development, contract negotiations, and order fulfillment. Hold P&L and

budget responsibilities. Provide team training, coaching, and mentoring. Direct network of sales

representatives and Dealer/Distributors located throughout the Western U.S and Hawaii. Design, implement,

and adjust various Push/Pull sales plans and programs, with a focus on building new distribution channels and

fostering demand in the Custom Builder arena.

Selected Achievements:

Responsible for developing a Dealer/Distribution base in the Western United States from scratch, this

included hiring and managing 9 Sales Representatives.

Grew sales by 50% from 2006 to 2008, achieved sales goals in 2007 and operational goals in 2008.

Dealer/Distributor base increased 300% in this time period

Consistently developed strong, sustainable relationships with key building, architectural and

distribution partners. Developed specifications for 2M in future projects for Atlantic Shutters.

Developed Architectural sales program designed to increase specification and use of Atlantic products

as standard on all building designs.

products to projects, architects and OEM partners. Responsible for channel and end-user sales development,

Developed a distribution network for the sale of TriMax Structural Lumber in the Western United
