Currently heading QA functions for the transitioning of Culinary Creations diets from Australia.

Simplified and streamlined regulatory process used for product application and registration in new

markets. Process has now been used for the China, Taiwan and Brazil markets and has facilitated

product introduction in those markets.

Launched a thorough re-write and renewal of Hill’s Quality Manual (Standards, Guidelines, SOP’s

and Work Instructions).

Developed and implemented clear and prompt communications/problem solving systems between

Hill’s Japan and Domestic Corporate offices – process included facilitation of identified issues

definitions and corrective actions with R&D, Package Engineering and affected manufacturing

location.

Provided leadership in the development and implementation of Hill’s Quality Systems Audit

Programs.

Performed Quality Systems audits in Hill’s domestic and international locations.

Manage a $50,000/year synthetic preservatives testing program for Hill’s naturally preserved diets.

related issues and collaborated with various groups to outline corrective action plans.

Performed audits and certified domestic Third Party Manufacturers (TPMs) for the processing and

filling of Ross nutritional products.

Worked with Product R&D, and clinical R&D for the investigations of the implications of using

probiotic in pediatric powdered products.

Led Quality Assurance functions and assisted in Regulatory Affairs responsibilities (developed FDA

filing documentation) in a $50 million dollar powder agglomeration project.

Coordinated a $900,000/year cost savings product formulation change by reducing the protein set

points for all Isomil (powdered, concentrated liquids and ready-to-feed products.

Implemented a $300,000/year cost savings oil soluble vitamin premix formulation change for soy

and milk pediatric formulas.

Managed Isomil powder manufacture in Abbott Labs, Zwolle, Netherlands. Provided support for

the FDA inspection / Approval of the location prior to product manufacture.

Trained quality systems personnel in Ross Casa Grande plant for the batch record review and

release of exported Isomil powdered products from Zwolle, Netherlands.

Developed and optimized analytical procedure for the sorption isotherms determination using

inverse chromatography.

Optimized methodologies for insoluble fiber determination of psyllium, total dietary fiber
