construction signs. Responsibilities included customer and vendor interface, product testing, Safety Program, and Quality. Employee
training in manufacturing electronic and electro-mechanical processes were performed for non bilingual employees (partially bilingual
in Spanish). A machine shop was set up by me from available stored equipment and employee training performed to support
manufacturing. I successfully provided cost effective design and process improvement to provide quality products. I provided
corrective action design and taught manufacturing procedures where a lot (consisting of 60 items) passed customer specifications on a
part not successfully built in two years while the plant was in Mexico. I succussfully built and machined the first item of a high
voltage (100,000 Volt) part as a training demonstration that met specifications for the customer. I determined corrective action
required for solar charging of 12 V. battery pack defect for programmable signs.
Environmental and Utilities Supervisor (First-Line Supervisors/Managers of Production and Operating Workers)
10/1997 - 04/1998 Aviko, USA, Jamestown, ND
Waste treatment department employees were supervised and lab testing was monitored. Responsible for quality of one million gallons
of effluent each day and the recovery of products and waste products were managed. All equipment operations and anaerobic digesting
tanks involved in processing were responsibilities. Power and water consumption was tracked. There was trouble with a piece of new
equipment on the waste treatment floor which I successfully provided the corrective action to bring the plant back on line. Identified
cost effectiveness of putting lab results in data bank for viewing plant wide.
Process Engineering Department (Engineers, All Other)

Electronic Specialist (09/1992-12/1993)
Project Engineer, Sr. (09/1988-09/1992)
Process Engineer II (08/1984-09/1988)
Job titles at Hughes Aircraft Radar Systems Group were in the Process Engineering Department. Electronic Specialist duties were
assisting design, assembly, and implementation of vision guided, computer aided robotics workstation for manufacturing micro-
electronic parts. Statistical Process Control levels above 6 Sigma were attained by the workstation. Project Engineer, Sr. duties
required support of B-2 aircraft radar unit manufacturing; and heading the task to create, test and implement a computer aided
hazardous materials cradle to grave tracking system. Physical destructive testing was performed in the Materials and Process
Laboratory. Presentations concerning tasks and reports on status was performed. Process Engineer II duties were support of
manufacturing of harness, interconnect modules and assembly for radar used by F-14, F-15, and F-18 aircraft. Involved with test
engineer on FACT test evaluation, an automated computer program performing electrical analysis for function of circuit boards.
Provided process support of the Assembly Producibility Laboratory and introduced flowing solder pot for assembly of power supplies.
A radar unit had been in a test prototype assembly situation. I was tasked to devise a corrective action technique to succesfully salvage
the five million-dollar unit by successful removal of non-specification connectors. I demonstrated the developed equipment and a
reproducable, successful process. Successfully meeting production specifications was a five million dollar company windfall.
General Manager (General and Operations Managers)
08/1981 - 08/1983 Plant and Field Service Maintenance Corp., Santa Fe Springs, CA

site for company vehicles, and tools. Responsible for certified welding crew on two miles of eight inch low pressure pipeline in above
ground installation. I brought in my company part three months early on the major contract and developed a new mining account.
This resulted in the gold mine management contacting me late on a Friday night for help with diverting water. I provided leadership,
response, employees, materials and equipment that prevented flooding of main shaft for gold mining operation during flood conditions
which would had ended the mine.
