Responsible for research and development of novel products – multi-functional films and micro-structure-based coatings

for optical applications;

Participate in a product development cycle, which includes research, prove of concept, prototyping, test planning,

process analysis, as well as transfer to a pilot scale;

Lead thorough materials characterization using different analytical methods and instrumental techniques, such as UV-

Vis-NIR, FTIR, ATR, Raman/PL, XPS, DSC, TGA, DMTA, NMR, chromatography, fluorimetry, rheometry, particle

size analysis, etc.;

Actively involved in designing and fabrication of metallic, dielectric and polymer thin films and coatings by spin-

coating, gravure-coating, CVD- and PVD- methods, etc.;

Experience with thin-film metrology: film surface morphological characterization using spectroscopic ellipsometry,

SEM, AFM, optical microscopy, polarized light, etc.;

Actively participate in problem solving and root-cause analysis; Develop and perform test methods for problem

assessment, analyze and interpret data, and recommend changes for improved product quality;

Invented a new product, front projection screen, based on engineered polymer coatings with tunable reflection/refraction
