Design and develop batch applications in both IBM Mainframe and UNIX environments. Work
closely with onshore and offshore development resources through all phases of the development
life cycle and coordinate project implementation. Perform data analysis and make

• Designed and coded a brand new system of JCL and PL/1 code as part of a team effort
that replaced outdated and inefficient software
Redesigned a high-maintenance television viewing Java process to eliminate redundant
programming effort
Achieved a 75% improvement in process efficiency by revamping batch PL/1 and JCL logic
Enhanced batch JCL to automatically send email notifications of error situations, allowing the
company to proactively correct issues without client impact
