WORK EXPERIENCE
2/2009 – 8/2009 Huffman Equipment Rental and Contracting Inc. - Eastlake, Ohio
Project Manager / Engineer
Huffman Equipment Rental and Contracting Inc. is a multi-million dollar marine based specialty company
specializing in marine construction, pile driving and dredging projects for organizations such as the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers, ODOT, Lake Metro Parks and various private marinas along Lake Eire. As Project Manager, my duties
included overseeing all aspects of construction, conducting meetings and communication directly with the owner(s),
estimating, reviewing and analyzing statements of work, bid forms, assembling bid packets, etc.
My main project was Townline Park Waterfront Improvements, located in North Perry Village, Ohio on the coast of
Lake Eire. The $4.5 million project entailed complete redevelopment of the shoreline to include construction of two large
off-shore breakwaters, break walls, bin wall piers, mooring dock, floating piers, beach area, boat dock area, boat launch
ramp, shoreline rip-rap protection, and related duties.
6/2007 – 3/2008
Project Manager/Engineer Kraft Construction Company Inc. - Naples, Florida
Kraft Construction is Florida’s largest privately owned general contractor. As Project Manager/Engineer, my
duties included reviewing shop drawings and submittals, creating/answering RFI’s and change orders, maintaining
extensive schedules, altering/manipulating contractual drawings utilizing AutoCAD, as well as coordinating multiple
subcontractors all at once. Several computer programs utilized were Primavera Scheduling and Autodesk Constructware
Project Management programs, as well as various Microsoft Office Applications.
My project was The Collier County Emergency Services Center. It is a $60 million unique government project
which was constructed to sustain a Category 5 Hurricane and to remain self-operational in the event of a mass destructive
storm. It is a state-of-the-art facility constructed on top of 300 cast-in-place concrete piles, with a cast-onsite concrete tilt-
up exterior paneling system. The building houses a variety of emergency services including 911 Center, Hazmat,
Homeland Security, FEMA, Fire & Police Chiefs, and News Media.

Owner and operator, C. J. Construction, a successful construction business specializing in excavation, swimming
pool installation, landscape design and construction, concrete and masonry, waterproofing, drain tile installation and
repair.
