continuous improvement opportunities and six sigma. Managed a returnable
container program with a daily volume of over 19,000 containers per day in a
just in time automotive manufacturing environment. Materials Supervisor for an
inventory consisting of over 2,012 total part numbers and 259 separate suppliers
(or 84% of the parts utilized by the Belvidere Assembly Plant on a daily basis).
Supervised the delivery over 133,000 sequenced parts per day and over 10,000
metered containers per day while tracking inbound shipments for over 178
trailers daily to ensure timely delivery in a plant containing a maximum 1 1/2
days of on-hand inventory.
