Major Accomplishments

• Developed and implemented a service system in the United States Army

which effectively reduced vehicle time in service by 30% by maximizing

KANBAN and 5S techniques.

first month of implementation in a food production environment.

Shift Supervisor

Responsible for all aspects of 3rd shift operations in an industry leading

manufacturer of organic supplements. Responsible for proactively addressing

barriers that may cause product quality issues, machine inefficiency, or

scheduling deviations and utilizing root cause analysis techniques to develop

corrective action for these issues. Responsible for the establishment,

implementation, assurance and compliance of SOPs which guarantee products

and processes not only meet but exceed WDA, FDA and OSHA standards.

Responsible for ensuring departmental are compliance with all TMS, GMP, 5S

and six sigma policies through proactive auditing and collaboration with other

department managers.

Materials Supervisor

Supervisor of 39 employees (all in a union environment). Primary trainer for all

equipment utilized on site including 59 forklifts, 28 electric tuggers and 14

propane powered tuggers. Directly responsible for the development,

implementation and audit procedures for standard operating procedures, 5S,

continuous improvement opportunities and six sigma. Managed a returnable

container program with a daily volume of over 19,000 containers per day in a

just in time automotive manufacturing environment. Materials Supervisor for an

inventory consisting of over 2,012 total part numbers and 259 separate suppliers

(or 84% of the parts utilized by the Belvidere Assembly Plant on a daily basis).

Supervised the delivery over 133,000 sequenced parts per day and over 10,000

metered containers per day while tracking inbound shipments for over 178

trailers daily to ensure timely delivery in a plant containing a maximum 1 1/2

days of on-hand inventory.

Performed duties including verification of all personnel entering and exiting

property, linking trailers to appropriate drop zones and verification of bill or

monthly and annual audits to ensure compliance with internal regulations along
