Purchasing Manager

Provided pricing support and supplier problem resolution to new product development and marketing teams. Sole owner of

year over year pricing, contract terms, tooling costs, and NRE’s for humidifiers, air purifiers, thermostats, fan and lighting

accessories.

Key Results:

Respected as the go to source for all things LCC related.

Successfully located, evaluated and negotiated commercial terms with supply base in the US, China, Taiwan, and

Mexico.

Delivered over one million dollars in cost savings within six months.

Championed the implementation of open pricing structures with all suppliers, effectively driving down unit costs.

Implemented commodity cost tracking system as contract cost negotiation tool. Followed closely the market cost of

ABS, PP, PS, EPS, Cold Rolled Steel, Silicone Steel, Copper, Zinc, and Aluminum to maintain realistic contract cost

during an unprecedented period of economic inflation. This same information was used to ensure that suppliers passed

on savings after commodity spikes during the summer of 2008.

Led manufacturing cost analysis of Hunter Fan products as compared to competitor products. Ensured that Hunter

contract costs could achieve retail price points necessary to gain additional market share.
