Key Accomplishments:

Created company wide supply chain initiative to improve delivery to retailers. This program’s success led to 92% of all

orders shipping within 48 hours of start date and resulted in increased reorders from retailers.

Implemented new ERP and WMS platforms. Beneficial results included increased user efficiencies allowing for cost savings by

eliminating duplicated data entry staffing positions. System install also reduced EDI processing time, improved reporting

accuracy and enhanced analytical/reporting tools.

Designed and developed an integrated database for product development department. Database provided global real time access

and standardized all technical/design packages submitted to manufacturing partners. Use of database expected to reduce staff

travel requirements and travel costs by 5 – 10% annually

partners, resulting in additional first year sales of $1.3M.

Facilitated and produced a retail sales database with full reporting capabilities for Sales and Production department.

Information generated from this database was used to measure regional and national selling trends (sell thru, price point,

etc.) as well as provide key metrics to guide future product development.

Instituted an inventory accuracy program that featured cycle counting, bar code scanning, and incorporated system

controls to eliminate user based inventory errors. Inventory accuracy increased from 73% to 99.2% after first inventory

cycle. Inventory accuracy average remains at greater than 99%.

Published a factory compliance manual for manufactured products. The enforcement of the manual and additional supply chain

enhancements increased accuracy of goods being imported assisted with inventory accuracy, and reduced vendor compliance

violations with retailers.

Renegotiated agreements with existing vendor base, and selected qualified alternative vendors. This process allowed for a savings

in operational costs in excess of $ 190k even with a 20% increase in sales.

Evaluated and implemented equipment, systems and processes to reduce operational overhead. Challenged to manage new

corporate initiatives and integrate across diverse areas of company. Made board level presentations, and had fiscal

responsibility for new initiatives.

Engineering Project Manager

Key accomplishments

Reconfigured and re engineered QVC’s Lancaster facility for distribution of apparel, cosmetics, and accessories.

Integrated automated storage, packaging and shipping equipment with a brand new WMS platform. Facility was able

to maintain full production during implementation; $ 17M project was completed under budget by 3%. Labor savings

results of approximately six cents per package (30M packages annually).

Designed, developed, installed, and introduced two core personalization offerings (gift wrapping and monogramming). This was

QVC’s first attempt to integrate personalization into their business channel. This program was incorporated into all back end IT,

Customer Service, and Distribution functions.
